Constitutional Fighters

How We Got Three Letters From the Attorney General in One Week

This week, two different Texas government agencies did something they had spent months avoiding. They wrote back. Two letters from the Attorney General landed ordering Godley ISD to release records it had been sitting on. A third landed the same week ordering Montgomery Central Appraisal District to do the same. None of that happened by luck.

In our new video, Constitutional Fighters, Mitch and I walk through exactly how it happened, and more importantly, how you can do it too. We break down tools built into the Constitution that most citizens never learn they already have: an open records law that forces documents into daylight, a Writ of Mandamus that forces compliance when an agency still refuses, a criminal referral that puts real evidence in front of a real prosecutor, and a free press that every one of us carries in our pocket the moment we hit publish. Run alone, each of these is a request a government can ignore. Run together, on the same paper trail, at the same time, there is no quiet way out left for anyone.

This is not theory. We are running these exact methods right now, live, across a school district, an appraisal district, and a district attorney’s office, and we show our work. If you have ever wondered whether one person without a law degree or a law firm behind them can make a government answer for itself, watch this. Then go file your first request. The power has always been in your hands.
